Definitely have to agree. I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting from this movie, but the last thing I expected was to just not really care. It's very sad to see such a wonderful franchise go down the drain. Just in case James Cameron reads comicmix, please, even if you don't want to ever make another Terminator movie again, just buy the rights so no one else can ruin it more.

Nicely put!I think the parts that bothered me the *most* were at the end of the movie. So they're going to kill off the best character in the movie. How is it that he's magically a compatible donor for Conner? How/when did they check his blood type? And lets do an organ transplant outside in all the the blowing dirt. Who needs a sterile environment! And boy, did Superboy John seem to heal quick! Sorry. End rant. >:)

I actually think T4 is far better than most of the other summer blockbusters namely because the story makes more sense to me, the reason why Kyle is being chased by Skynet is because somehow Skynet has learned that he is John's father and is trying to kill him before he time travels to 84 and thus change the fate of the Future War. Why Kyle is wandering around the wasteland by himself I believe he explains it in the movie that to join the Resistance he has to prove himself. As too the chain of command and resources. The chain of command is answered Connor is not the leader of the Resistance yet, I think it's Micheal Ironside who is the leader and Connor is an up and coming, as too resources the tech is taken or stolen from Skynet stuff like food and water you got me, but for a two hour movie is it really important to know 100% about everything about the world. Whatever happened to suspension of disbelief or just fill in the blanks yourself? Kate's pregnancy was a nod to T3 where Arnold makes a comment about their children helping lead the Resistance. I found T4 a different and very refreshing and good take on the Terminator franchise with solid special effects, great robot designs, great music, solid production design, and story with solid characters and a much better story than all the other summer blockbusters.

Moon Bloodgood was not in "Wolverine."

Kyle Reese's importance isn't explained? Clearly you were getting up to get popcorn as it's verbalized by Connor to his wife–reset the future by destroying the past–kill Reese before he can travel back in time to become Connor's father. Is there a unresolved paradox there? Sure. "TS" ain't perfect but it's a better film than T3 and, I suspect, some of the complaints you have would probably be addressed if McG had been allowed to construct a 2 hour and 43 minute version he had in mind for the film.Either way, the film stands up quite well the way it is already. The plot points that you indicate were confusing were pretty darn clear to me. Next time don't get up to get popcorn or pause the film.
