I totally agree with this review: (SPOILER ALERT!!)1) The origin of the power battery, the Guardians, and the Yellow ring were just to off to make this a good movie. A) The GL's power is derived from will power. . .never mentioned B) The Guardians were living power batteries, and they did not even have "green" energy when battling Sinestro C) Sinestro's power was based on fear, the yellow spectrum, created by Paralax. Paralax was never mentioned as the impurity in the rings or the battery.Honestly, I was SO excited to hear about this movie that I pre-ordered it. But now, I wish I had not purchased at all, but just rented a copy from Blockbuster. GL in "New Frontier" was a WAY better hero than the GL in this movie. Honestly, quite disappointed.I just hope and pray that the live action movie will not make the same mistake. However, I feel it will, and worse.

I really wish that someone would make a *good* movie of the SF novels a whole lot of the GL mythos was ripped off from.(At least at one point the names of two GLs gave a nod of acknowledgement to Doc.)
