Great article! It's this kind of hard-hitting investigative journalism on the topics that really matter that is sadly lacking from the mainstream press these days :-)On a related note, two very good books – Operation: Lightning Strike and Operation: Thunderchild by Nick Pope – address what the UK government response to a UFO invasion would be. They're an interesting read, as Pope was the Ministry of Defence's "UFO guy" for a number of years and uses his experience to great effect.

This company is seriously missing out on a growth market. Do you know what evil geniuses will pay for a pre-built underground lair? One that's already set up to launch missles?

I wonder if the folks who bought my uncle's house ever dismantled the fallout shelter he built in the basement back in the '50s? It could keep the hoard out until troops arrived.

I'll lay odds Pittsburgh has a plan in case of zombies…

I could have been living in a missile silo and haven't? I gotta move on this.

I'm going to assume that the LAPD will let somebody in the Orange County Sheriff's Dept. know what's going on, should the horde start moving south. My hope is that if the undead move north from San Diego that the Marines in Camp Pendleton will slow them down enough so that we can throw the cat and our earthquake preparedness supplies in the SUV and head into the desert.

This is a cleaver and fun article. Kudos to the writer for the idea and for carrying it out. Somehow the rather gruff response from the NYPD is exactly what I would expect.

"Watch out for Jehovah Zombies they knock and knock and knock…" (qouted by a friend)Good article. Makes me wonder how other police Departments would respond and how accessable are they in an emergency. I like the reference to all the links too.
