Thanks for that excellent review, Jen, particularly getting the kidlet's perspective. :)

I second Keith's opinion. Excellent review. Jenifer Rosenberg daughter's insights were both funny and profound. This reminded me of a series of articles that Martha Thomases did for ComicMix. She would review movies with Lillian Baker (Kyle Baker's daughter.) Those were presented as dialog's between Martha and Lillian. They were effective. I would be interested in reading more collaborative reviews with Jenifer and her daughter. (What's Jenifer's daughter's name? Maybe there are personal reasons for keeping Jenifer's daughter anonymous, but I sort of felt like she should have gotten a bit of name recognition out of this.) Anyway, I would be interested in reading collaborative reviews, not just of comics aimed at kids, but other media too! Cartoons! Movies! Music! TV Shows! Like I said, I miss the Martha Thomases and Lillian Baker's insights on culture. It's nice to get a kid's perspective.

Thank you! We prefer not to post our kids' names on public venues, but I will let her know that her feedback was appreciated. We hope to review more things together in future.

I certainly understand the choice of keeping your daughter's anonymity. The Internet can be a seething Pandora's Box of Creepy.

I certainly understand that. I may be I may be overly careful, but it's that type of concern that leads me to always be rather pointedly vague as to names, ages and even whether I have kids when posting comments online.

I second the motion. I've been reading comics for mumbley mumbley years and have gotten pretty good at finding the stuff I like. But, with some younger folks now in the picture, insight into what the kids enjoy (or don't) about particular books would be very helpful to know
