i gave up on it about two weeks ago largely due to the dialogue being preposterous for 1970s new york city cops – plus the fact that it tanked from lost's lead-in – this should shock no one

Not really a surprise, and probably for the best. Maybe i'm too focused on the Original series, but the premise of the show just doesn't seem built to last 5+ seasons, 22 eps a season. At least now it'll have an ending. Curious to see what they decide to go with. And as for what's next… I say check out the original series on DVD, and Ashes to Ashes for that matter.http://www.igp-scifi.com/life-on-mars-review.html

I thought they did quite a good job on the US series. I'm glad they have been given a chance to wrap it up. This week's episode was very good.Ashes to Ashes starts this Saturday on BBC America.

LIFE ON MARS WAS A VERY GOOD SHOW! if you havent watched in two weeks how do you know if its good or not. This was not a good decision. ABC cancels all of the good shows and leaves all of the BAD shows on.

I TRIED to love this show but it isn't good. It's just passable. Shocking because the cast is pretty impressive. I'm glad it got canceled. The writing just wasn't good enough. "If it's not on the page, it's not on the stage."
