    Thanks for featuring "Batman's Song" on ComicMix! I'm thrilled and honored. I wrote this song about 16 years ago. The characters are Batman and his supporting cast. But the idea for the conflict in the song (and for making me a character in it) is directly influenced by Grant Morrison and Chas Truog's run on "Animalman!" That was a strange and wonderful story!

    The Muppet back-stories column has some interesting bits, but they miss one big one; Bunsen Honeydew was a caricature of Lew Grade (Sir Lew Grade, i thik, at the time, latterly Lord Grade), head of ITC, the British company that produced The Muppet Show.
