Kyle XY wasn't cancelled due to low ratings. ABC Family has decided to concetrate their original programming to attract the young, female teenage viewer. Kyle XY has a much broader appeal. Lack of advertising for this season resulted in lower viewer numbers. After word of the cancellation was released to the media, numbers dropped but not significantly. Still, the viewer numbers for Kyle XY (1.5-1-3 million) were still better than two shows that ABC Family renewed. We are trying to change ABC Family's mind about the cancellation or try to get another network to pick up the show. You can help with the effort by visiting savekylexy.com. We need letters sent to the networks to let them know we want more Kyle!!
