Jon Sable Freelance and the Rockefeller Center tree lighting
As you might have seen, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was lit last night. But you probably didn’t know what was going around in the background… Jon Sable Freelance and Maggie the Cat wandering around.
If you’d like to know the real story of what went on last night, you can read Jon Sable Freelance: Ashes Of Eden for free!
Is that Lance Bass and his S.O. on the left?
Clever, Glenn! Nearly as clever as “Ashes of Eden,” a true Action-Suspense-Mystery-Thriller. Well written. Gratuitously violent. And beautifully drawn. Plus, I learned the word “McGuffin”!
Heck, if you think that’s subtle, just wait till December 26th– Boxing Day. And, incidentally, the centennial of Jack Johnson winning the world heavyweight crown.
It's just nice to see ComicMix doing a bit of self promotion of your comics, especially with work this good. I would love to read an interview with Mike Grell about the return of Jon Sable and maybe even about "The Pilgrim." I think "The Pilgrim" is the first book Grell's illustrated that he hasn't written himself in a LONG time. There's lots of exciting stuff happening with ComicMix Comix, but we don't hear much about that from ComicMix Newz, even less since Martha Thomases defected to MichaelDavisWorld.com.
Where do you get your information?I think the term 'defected' with reference to Martha's leaving is grossly incorrect.Implying that any of the departures of of the regular columnists as a choice is just plain wrong.
Sorry, Rick. I was being intentionally obtuse, facetious even. Although the circumstances of the columnists departure has never been explained here, I have gathered it wasn’t exactly voluntary. I was trying to say that Martha is missed.
No sweat Russ.
I just know personally that the guys (and gals) that wrote columns here really loved what they did.
I just didn’t want folks to think they ‘copped a ‘tude’ and stomped off to ‘something better’.
Granted, Michael Davis is the big winner here.
Just looking out for some friends.
We miss her too.
Then I'll bet you liked what we did for Repeal Day. :)
