Robert Greenberger is best known to comics fans as the editor of Who's Who In The DC Universe, Suicide Squad, and Doom Patrol. He's written and edited several Star Trek novels and is the author of The Essential Batman Encyclopedia. He's known for his work as an editor for Comics Scene, Starlog, and Weekly World News, as well as holding executive positions at both Marvel Comics and DC Comics.

    You know, I'd like to see a female doctor for a season, just to see how that'll work out.Maybe Billie Piper, or Natalie Dormer would be fun to play the Doctor.

    This year's Children In Need telethon has already aired. Maybe they mean next year's?As far as possible Doctors goes, I loved Warwick Davis' tongue-in-cheek suggestion: that something goes wrong with the regeneration and Tennant becomes Davis (temporarily), complete with a TARDIS interior rescaled for him, with people having to crouch and always bumping their heads. Sounds like it might be fun for next year's Christmas special. It'll never happen, but it would be fun to see.

    At the risk of sounding politically incorrect, which I ain't, while the BBC could always present adventures featuring other Time Lords, there is just too much existing history to alter the visual qualifications for who could portray the Doctor specifically.

      Time Lords are not human. Resemblance to human "racial" characteristsics is a relatively minor issue. You have seen Time Lords regenerate into forms of differing ethnic appearances in Planet Of The Spiders and Destiny Of The Daleks.May I recommend Paterson Joseph's role as The Marquis De Carabas in Neverwhere?
