Hmmm. After Harris's Sookie Stackhouse novels (although what i've seen so far of True Blood does not move me) and Davidson's "Betsy, Queen of the Vampires" humourous books, the Mercy Thompson books are just about the best paranormal romance series Kate's dragged home so far.The problem with Mercy's adventures is that they introduce all sorts of concepts that are vital to the stories that can be told easily but that i cannot imagine being capable of being well-depicted vsually (at least within the confines oc commercial TV or movies). Just as an instance – how do you explain the difference between what Mercy is and a were wolf within those constraints? How about her we're-not-certain-what-he-is-but-i-have-my-suspicions mentor?

OMG… I would love to see these books made into a movie or series. Mercy is an awesome character and Adam is just dead sexy. PLEASE PLEASE put this on the big screen!
