It is great to see ComicMix posting this news here. I've been in touch with my reps in congress and the senate repeatedly in an effort to get this bill stopped – and they just keep sneaking it back onto the floor. You would think they didn't have more important things to deal with!

I've also contacted my reps repeatedly over the months. While my representative and one of my senator's offices have been willing to listen and at least sound intereted in what I had to say (and that senator's office has said he's against the bill), it's unfortunate that my other senator's office, the one who's running for president, has always seemed to rush me off the phone with no interest in my opinion. I'll still vote for him in November, but it's disappointing. The thing that usually seems to get the office person's attention is when I use one of their vacation photos that they might post on a website for an example, pointing out how if not registered it can be considered orpahned and used without their permission, leaving their face left for use in porn or something else they wouldn't like.

Hell Andrew, those vacation photos could even be used in a . . . COMIC BOOK! That should put the fear of government in them!
