Something is just not making sense in the 8th season of Smallville. It's the whole Clark-Lois thing that is going to happen. What i don't get is is this: Clark and Lana can't be together because Clark has a destiny to fulfill and Lana is the one "thing" holding him back from embracing his destiny. At the end of the season, Lana realizes this, and though it was a very hard thing to do, she leaves Clark, but not without telling him that she'll love him forever. Now, why is it suddenly okay for Lois to be dating Clark? Won't it be the same case, that she'll hold him back? Even though Clark's lost his powers, he's bound to get them back, and then what? Same story-Lois leaves Clark for the good of Clark's destiny? I think that the producers are intent on turning the story to a new perspective that they do not stop to think about the past important details that were mentioned in the past seasons. They mentioned that there would be a revival of interest between Clark and Chloe too. Can't Chloe just stay with Jimmy, possibly marry him, and get over Clark, because it's starting to look like a soap opera. Smallville is one of my best tv shows, and though i was disappointed to learn that Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum are leaving, i hope season 8 turns out to be better than what i'm expecting.

So sad another Superman TV series will end(fade) less than average. Reflection of hollywood movie politics influences good TV.
