2010? I thought the specials would be in 2009 and the new series would be 2010…

The specials will start this Christmas, actually. That one is already filmed. There will be 3 in 2009. Then 2010 is when the new season starts. Can't wait.

That's what i thought. The article confused me by saying …two of the four Doctor Who specials for 2010 will be shot in the United States.

They may have changed their schedule. I hope not. But the plan was two Christmas specials (one this year and the other next year and two specisl in between.

The BBC article saying he has no objection to a film (not that he is working on one) is athttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7579332….The article ends with "Writer Davies will remain in charge of four Doctor Who specials to be shown in 2009. " Now when they air in the US is another question.

Also, bear in mind that this is from News of the world, a paper slightly less reliable than the National Enquirer. It'd be cool, but don't start checking the casting call sites yet.

I always download them as soon as they become available, which is usually a few hours after they air in the UK. I hate waiting on SciFi which also chops them up.
