You've just wasted another 60 seconds of my life with your non-comics post. Thanks for another freakin' pointless blog post.

It was interesting to see all of the conspiracy theories that first showed up. When I was trying to figure out what was going on I saw that this appears to have happened a couple of times in the past, but not to the extent that it happened on Friday. What I hoped would happen did happen – they realized there was a mistake and corrected it relatively quickly. Their notice about realizing there was a mistake appeared at http://buzz.blogger.com/2008/08/spam-fridays.htmlon Friday early evening. They posted their apology the next day at http://buzz.blogger.com/2008/08/you-are-not-spam….There were a lot of people who were quite upset by this and at times offended by the insinuation that they were making a "spam blog." Once they saw that this was a large scale software bug, I think they calmed down for the most part. Coincidentally, I was invited to a new group blog on Friday, so I managed to get my blogging desire fulfilled through that without needed to go over to Live Journal.
