We're gonna start seeing the unmitigated crap about a year from now. As the bandwagon creaks and sways lower to the ground (making it all the easier for even more people to hop on), we'' see some really embarassing work, and as soon as the first one fails, Hollywood will suddenly "realize" that nobody wantes to see comic book movies anymore, and rush off to another hot genre, like vampire romance novels or something.

Maybe then Hollywood will leave Comic-Con alone – or at least not force out the "comic" aspect of the convention. This wouldn't be the first time genres get driven into the group by those riding the wave (Gangster, Horror, Western, etc.). Hopefully it won't be for some time.
