Yep, comics and weddings are a great combo. When I married Chris in 1994, our wedding invite was an 8-page Simone & Ajax mini-comic (though perhaps blinded by love it was probably the worst-drawn S&A comic I ever did and will likely never be seen again). A couple years ago a comics and art-collector friend of mine called in a bunch of favors and also did a comics wedding-invite, each page being done by a different artist, and he got some really good ones, and the original being their wedding present from that artist. Weddings should be fun, and comics sure help make 'em that way.

Ah, an 8-page, Simone & Ajax, wedding mini-comic might make the PERFECT bonus material in a Simone & Ajax bound volume! Whatever flaws you might see in the work (and I know many artists who are their own worst critics), those would be overcome by the sentiment of the piece. I wrote an original song for my wedding, which my best man sang in the service. I haven't been able to top myself for a "romantic gesture since." Obviously I need to try harder.
