"Except, he was a kid in the 20th century."I just had that same thought about 30 minutes ago.I also don't think DC would let a Marvel writer write a Superman movie.

DC doesn't have any veto power over it as they work directly for Warner Bros… but I'd think they'd be glad to get as close to Millar as possible. They'd be nuts not to.

As with anything else in the la-la-land of hollywood… I'll believe it when I see it. Mark Millar does "widescreen comics" perhaps better than anyone in the biz right now… and Singer (in my opinion) def. dropped the ball with "Returns". Could a "Hulk" type reboot be what's needed for the franchise? If handled well, I certainly think so. Heck, even a few seasons ago, I would have hoped for a smallville leap to the big screen before it too jumped the shark. A good Supes' flick needs to have a new villain, more action, and less quirky romance. Reeves and Kidder did that so well, it needn't be remade. But finger lasers and celophane S-Shields? C'mon, the action portion of this franchise NEEDS to be revisited. Sign Millar up asap as far as I'm concerned.
