‘Incredible Hulk’ Poster Revealed
The Incredible Hulk is looking to be the green-headed stepchild of the summer movie season.
Everyone is going gaga over The Dark Knight and Iron Man, while no one is paying any attention to the Hulk’s film. Is it because of the negative opinion of Ang Lee’s Hulk? Is it because no one really cares about the character, or is the film just being lost in a season of box office megahits?
The general apathy around the film is only increased by the fact that the film’s very first poster was released today. Keep in mind the film is set to be released on June 13.
The poster is definitely evocative of the classic Incredible Hulk TV show, but will that be enough to get people in theaters?

What I find interesting is that hardly anyone (outside of the die-hard Hulk fans) knows the movie is coming out this year.
I think they've been trying to avoid stepping on Iron Man. There will probably be a hard push in the weeks between Iron Man and Hulk, particularly if there's a crossover between the two films.
There have been some stories surfacing that there's a lot of dissension and unhappiness among the people behind the movie. So there's another not-good sign.
Isn't that mostly on Edward Norton? Like, he's really unhappy and he's got all sorts of approvals?"You wouldn't want to make me angry…" says Ed.
The problem is the horrendous job Ang Lee did with the first movie. I think this one looks a lot better and Im sure it will be because you really could not do a worse Hulk movie than the first one. I think they are making a mistake though releasing it in the same time line as Iron Man and Batman. I'm actually looking forward to this movie far more than Iron man though, which looks silly.
I'll admit, I'm looking forward to Iron Man more than the others. I'm a big fan of Downey's, and I think he seems like a great casting choice.Late last night, Linda and I were driving to NYC's JFK Airport and there's this huge (like, four-story) Iron Man billboard dominating the sky off of I-687. Really, really cool. Particularly at 11 PM.
I think Downey does look good as Tony Stark but I actually think the Iron man and the villain look kinda cheesy. I was wrong about other CGI superhero movies like Spiderman so Ill reserve judgment till I see it. Doesn't Norton look good as Bruce Banner though? I also like the nod to the TV series, which I'm sure some people don't like but I think its very interesting. The CGI Hulk and the villain in this one look great though.
