Hate, by Dennis O’Neil

Dennis O'Neil

Dennis O'Neil was born in 1939, the same year that Batman first appeared in Detective Comics. It was thus perhaps fated that he would be so closely associated with the character, writing and editing the Dark Knight for more than 30 years. He's been an editor at Marvel and DC Comics. In addition to Batman, he's worked on Spider-Man, Daredevil, Iron Man, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow, the Question, The Shadow and more. O'Neil has won every major award in the industry. His prose novels have been New York Times bestsellers. Denny lives in Rockland County with his wife, Marifran.

    Denny,

Don’t these picketers have anything positive to do?

Last I checked, the church, or at least my church, was about love and acceptence.

Couldn’t these guys find something constructive to do with their time like help the homeless?

BTW – My church does that too.

Imagine what all that energy could produce if it was focused on something more positive.

Mr. O'Neil, I am from Minnesota, which I suppose could be considered Middle America. I have no interest in picketing gays. If I was going to picket anyone, it would be Phelps. I find it amazing that anyone would pay any respect to this man Phelps by calling him 'Reverend'. You are a better man than me, sir.

Denny, there's a google ad for gay wedding rings on this page. The rings look fine for anybody, actually. The local scuttlebutt is that a number of families who had planned to bury their soldiers at home are now burying them at Arlington National because they keep Phelps and his clique out.
