Back in the early eighties, I got two graphic novels of Dan Dare, "The Man From Nowhere" and "Rogue Planet". I loved the art and the story. The colors were very rich. This new series is good news.

I like Gary Erskine's art a lot (he's also doing a lot for Teshkeel's book The 99), but I was a bit surprised by this as I thought the point of Virgin was to introduce the world to Indian (South Asian) artists.

The last time I read Dan Dare I think I was in primary school. It was fun reading some new stuff. I think the main reason I got it though was to see some space battles. None this time but maybe next time.
