While some of my comics assignments are far from slam dunk publications and my "day job" involves comics writing that my name will not appear on, I am delighted to be earning my living from the art form I love. I kept the bills paid with other stuff – business and political and organization writing – but my heart wasn't in it.I'm booked pretty solid for October, pending the outcome of some conversations with a couple editors, but that shouldn't stop other interested parties from contacting me. With my health issues well behind me, I'm back for good.

Glad to see that, Tony. And, as usual, I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Mid-Ohio Con in Columbus November 24 and 25.The most subtle of plugs…

I, too, thought the Legion made little-sense post-Crisis, though the Waid run was pretty comprehensible, imho.sure Let's see what Shooter does, though…And having non-comics people writing comics isn't a slam-dunk, either. Brad Meltzer proved that point.

  4. Rick Taylor says:

I, too, am looking forward to seeing how Shooter 'regrounds' the Legion in the now, really confusing, post-everything DC Universe. Gotta tell to how happy I am seeing the comics writers are making a comeback. Maybe there will be some long-term investing in the direction of things insteading of all the 'stunt junk' most folks are pushing

I am looking forward to Marty Pasko and Cary Bates back on Superman. Let's start the rumor!!

  6. Mike Gold says:

First rule in starting a rumor: don't tell anybody it's a rumor!Besides, it might not be a rumor.

    Uh, right.
