Yesterday in Japan, which I believe is today here, the Hugo Awards (which some of us jokingly refer to as the Eisners of science fiction) were handed out in the first-ever Asian-based World Con, Nippon 2007. Wow! Look at that rocket and its attendant! I don't think there's ever been a Hugo like that! Is that Mt. Fuji on there? Also, excellent winner list. I don't think anybody can complain about those (although someone will, Ghu knows). I wonder if Patrick would bring his to Minicon so I can look at it closer.
Screw Mt. Fuji…that's ULTRAMAN on the Hugo. That kicks so much ass we need more ass.
Yes, I found out it was Ultraman later. I'm reading more comics as an adult than I did as a kid, but they're still not superhero variety.
