Pretty fair review. I'll answer some of your questions… It's a collection of the weekly strips I've been syndicating to alternative newspapers like the Austin Chronicle, the Eugene Weekly, and others. Op Ivy is an old punk band. They're not as famous as Henry Rollins or Mike Judge (previous introduction authors) but I really like Op Ivy's music and I think Jesse is a great writer.I think you hit the nail on the head by saying that longer stories would be better. I'm dying to do longer work and I'm just needing a forum (a way to do it and get paid). I have a couple pieces that I'm working on – but, ironically, it's like a hobby that I have to do on weekends. Hopefully I'll get some of them finished up toward the end of this year. I looked as this book as a way of wrapping up some older loose threads before I jump in to some new projects. But seriously, thank you for the thoughtful review. It's even handed and thoughtful in ways that reviews should be.

I love Op Ivy! Andrew you maybe more familiar with the band Rancid, whose memebers Tim and Matt were in Operation Ivy first. Like Mr. S. Wheeler Operation Ivy is also from the Bay Area
