Wonder if they'll ever do another multiple-Doctors story (like in the days of yore).Guess they're all too old and fat… except Eccleston, right?

The fun part is, once the Sarah Jane Adventures gets going (September I believe?) We won't have too many weeks in between non-DW-related television.

There's a K-9 show coming up as well.As for multiple Doctors, I think it could be done. Davison, McGann and McCoy could still look right in costume. Tom Baker is a bit old for the part, although he would play a great villain. From his blog (http://www.freewebs.com/colinbaker/thoughtsofatim…) Colin Baker looks like he might have a tougher time of it, but, then again, in "his" costume people probably wouldn't notice.I'd love to see McGann do a couple teevee movies that deal with the ultimate Timeload / Daleks war, and give Eccleston a "proper" transition. If ever there were a story that called for multiple doctors…

Exec. producer davis has sworn never to do a multiple doctor tale, but since he acknowledged them in "Human Nature," you never know. especially now that he's said that the Master will not turn up again during his tenure, yet he has a plan for an even greater, more welcome surprise for next season…. And after Davies leaves the show, it's more than possible that the new boss'll want to maintain interest with a multiple Doctor saga….

Considering the weight that most of the actors have put on (and I'm certainly not immune, either) Mike's malaprop-riate word, "Timeload" is quite apt.And a retconned transition between McGann and Eccleston is a lovely fanboy dream, but I wouldn't hold my, er, breadth for that one.

The Time War (Dalek vs Gallifrey) saga is far more likely on BBC 7 radio, where McGann has been doing new Dr. Who stories (which then go to CD), but even the brains behind those have said that perhaps the epic is better suited to the imagination since they're not sure they could do the concept justice. As for returning, multiple Doctors: Eccleston, McCoy and McGann all still look the parts, but it's unlikely that Eccleston would do it (tho' you never know, given his seeming moodiness…whatever happened to him on HEROES, anyway?).

Come to think of it, Doctor #5, Peter Davison (presently playing "Arthur, King of the Britons," in the London production of "Spamelot"), would also fit back in his cricket costume — especially with the youthening CGI software presently in play (see X-Men 3 or any of the DirecTV ads for examples). Sadly no amount of CGI could get the Baker boys back in Doctor trim … and I, too, say this with total knowledge of my own Santa pot.
