Simpsons: Testify This September 18

Martha Thomases

Martha Thomases brought more comics to the attention of more people than anyone else in the industry. Her work promoting The Death of Superman made an entire nation share in the tragedy of one of our most iconic American heroes. As a freelance journalist, she has been published in the Village Voice, High Times, Spy, the National Lampoon, Metropolitan Home, and more. For Marvel comics she created the series Dakota North. Martha worked as a researcher and assistant for the author Norman Mailer on several of his books, including the Pulitzer-Prize-winning Executioner's Song, On Women and Their Elegance, Ancient Evenings, and Harlot's Ghost.

That link seems to be broken. Here's a TinyURL link: http://tinyurl.com/3a3qooI'm so happy that another CD is coming out — I enjoy hearing the tracks in my iPod as much as when I see them in an episode. But, Martha, I don't understand your comment that because of the movie there will be "a long, hot stretch of summer with no new Simpsons." There are no new episodes every summer, so the movie is a bonus. Are you saying the season premiere will be delayed this fall?

Apparently I didn't leave a space or something, so you'll have to cut-and-paste my link as well, it would seem. D'oh!
