Greetings!I just stumbled on to this site, and it is wonderful to see so many familiar names from my days on staff at DC Comics. And as a long time fan of Doc Savage (I began reading Doc in 1970 completed my run of Bantam paperbacks many moons ago), I applaud Anthony Tollin and his pulp reprints. Anthony, you're a brick. My biggest problem is that I've yet to find any of the books at my local Border's or Barnes and Noble here in the Dallas area, so I may have to fish and get that Costco membership! Or order them directly which is probably the better idea.

Love the new reprints of the Shadow and Doc Savage. They are far easier to read than the old paperbacks and the covers and inside art are great. I prefer the James Bama and Bob Larkin Doc covers although it's nice to see some of the Baumhofer covers. My first Doc story was the Phantom City followed by Fear Cay and I was hooked, gave up comic books(big mistake, wish I'd kept all my comics from years ago) and became a paperback reader from then on. Love the Shadow and also the Spider and love the great statues of these characters that have come out. Hope Anthony Tollin continues these reprints of Doc and the Shadow to the ends of the series, may sell my paperbacks as these reprints are far superior and I recommend them to everyone, especially with teenagers who like to read.
