I'm about to head out to the San Diego Comic Con and I want to let everyone know that, starting Wednesday night, I will be signing and sketching at the Insight Studios booth, #2308. We are right across the aisle from Graphtti and DC Comics. I will have the LONE JUSTICE ASHCAN and fancy art prints as well as original art from a variety of my comic book series including EZ STREET, FRANKENSTEIN MOBSTER and some of my Edgar Rice Burroughs illustrations. Have a great time at the SDCC. When you see them, say "Hi" to the folks from RiffTrax, Lucky Legendary, Michael Davis World or ComicMix for me. Some year, I hope to get to SDCC too.
I can cover you on the Michael Davis and ComicMix people — but the really frustrating thing about the current state of the SDCC is that I only see the cool people from RiffTrax or MST3000 if they come by the booth. Two years ago I was taunted by my friends who got to go to the MST3000 reunion panel while I was stuck at the booth. On the other hand, in addition to the cool fans and fellow comics creators who were visiting the booth that year, we also had Greg Itzin, Frank Darabont and Stephen Sommers hanging out. So I really can't complain.
Then I will have to try to get the RiffTrax and LuckyLegendary folks to stop by the Insight Studios booth!
Then I'll be expecting them! Let Mike and the guys know that I'll do a sketch for each of them if they stop by!Do you have your tickets for PLAN 9 yet?

Good episode! I didn't expect the deep philosophical discussion inside the shanty town, right on the heels of a fight. But this gets at the heart of the question, "Can a Lone Vigilante represent Justice?" And this was a smooth transition from ACTION to debate. The dialog didn't seem stilted or pedantic, and that can be a hard thing to do, especially when the characters are debating big ideas.
