This marks the sixth different version (at least) of The 40 Year Old Virgin available on DVD, with unrated, R rated, theatrical, widescreen, pan-and-scan and HD-DVD releases out there as well. As all seem to feature pretty much the same cover art, buyer beware!
Talk about out of the grying pan and into the fire.Poor old Sable, the old guy just doesn't get a break, does he?
Sorry that should be frying pan.Leprauchauns.
Where is Jon Sable's penis? From the drawing on page 94, it looks like one of the wires from the battery that is being used to torture Jon is attached to his penis. But his penis is masked by a very, very small small shadow. Or his captors have forced him to tuck it and sit on it. That doesn't make sense, does it? Other pages and panels, show Jon from discrete angles. His endowments are left to the imagination. But the angle on page 94 doesn't leave much room for imagination … and that's a tiny shadow. There is a lot of nudity in this story, even some sexually explicit poses, but not much "full frontal nudity." Genitals are still covered, in shadow or off panel. So, I guess Mike Grell draws the line (or more to the point, he refuses to draw the lines) on "full frontal nudity." Or is this a ComicMix editorial policy? "Naked: yes. Sex: OK. But please, no genitals."
There's a certain amount of shrinkage when you get electrified. Please don't ask how Grell found that out.
