Love the fact that the creators are not bound by the legend's conventions and neither the art nor the writing is constrained to play to type in this series. Robin may, indeed, succeed in saving these fire victims, but not because his plan is Errol Flynn-perfect or strategically sound! Instead, it's full of holes that he has to work around constantly–to say nothing of depending on luck. But no doubt about his heart being in the right place! Both art and story are so dynamic—I wish this series could go on indefinitely, but…sigh….we all know how the story ends. Or do we??????

Thanks! I must confess at this point I'm considering a style switch. Something along the lines of Matt Feazel's Cynical Man. So many characters–so little time.Your comments will help to keep the stick figure style at bay–this week.

As a playwright who has worked with the Robin Hood legend, I find most versions to be lacking or to be too caught up in trying to reinvent the wheel or place some unique author's stamp on the character. This series thus far, has not done that and has surprised me as to how excellent it is. Superb story so far, the art is perfect on every level. I'll be waiting for more issues here, and eagerly waiting for this series in actual print so I can purchase and hold it in my own hands. Keep up the great work.
