Some of the most consistently RIGHT genre spoofs I've seen — and "sui generis," on top of that. The wordplay and the shadowplay make for a most rewarding combination. That stare-down sequence toward the end of this episode, along with its abrupt resolution, is a gem.
Great series. Have been throughly entertained by each installment thus far. But being new to this feature, what is the back story, if any, of the title characters?

Mike, how do I get to issues other than the first and the current? Clicking on the hyperlink at the top of the page takes me to to the first issue; clicking on the picture showing on the front page takes me to the current issue. Neither have links to the second, and I don't see an index anywhere.

You can read more about both S&A here at ComicMix in Martha's article of a few weeks back (should be searchable) or at http://www.simoneandajax.com, their official website. The 30-page story of how these two met was serialized in 3 comics over two titles a while back, so it would be tricky to find, but will be re-presented here at ComicMix in January, and all for FREE, just before the new, color stories will start. Hope you'll keep following S&A here to see what their story is.
I'm really enjoying this. I don't read a lot of this kind of comic, and I can tell I won't like most of the others, but I like this a lot.
They had links at the top to all issues so far, but removed them. I preferred them there. If you go to the Comics page, though, you can see all installments for all of the comics.
