Question for the team — if someone hasn't read the FIRST installment, how would they do that?

Standby. Brian's noodling even as I type.

    For a quick fix – here's the link:http://www.comicmix.com/comic/comicmix/grimjack-t

Ok. I've got a question and a comment.First is that last panel is unbelievably refreshing. I know this is the internet and you can say what you want and cursing isn't unheard of in webcomics but seeing an actual curse word instead of #@!% is blowing my mind. This is all brand new right? Is there by any chance a plan to build an rss feed for the comics?"smoke 'em if you have 'em" – nice.GrimJack is fast becoming one of my favorite reads.

Shouldn't this be numbered Grimjack #1 week 2? Not issue #2 Week 2?Also if you don't click to it from the front page its next to impossible to not just keep getting week 1. Which was annoying.Great pages though!

    • Mike Gold says:

Adriane, we (Glenn, Brian and yours truly) spent about three weeks debating this very issue, taking time out only for barbecue. After said three weeks, we knew exactly how many angels can dance on the head of a pin (depending upon the dance), we knew exactly how many days we could go without bathing, and we had a formula for numbering this stuff that, by that point in time, didn't confuse us any longer. Don't mess with clarity of thought by committee.

So after you guys were smelly and your heads hurt from thinking on nonsense you came up w/ numbering the installments as issues. So if the GN form is 128 pages long its going to be collecting issues 1-20(ish) rather than say 1-4? mmmmmmkI'm just saying why use 'issue' numbers AS WELL AS installment numbers if they are in fact an interchangable number? Its confusing to those of us that weren't at the Angel-Pinhead Summit of 2007, especially the ones with the mild OCD.

I miss the page numbers at the bottom.Other than that I cannot complain. I actually ran into the seeing the first page problem, but I changed the URL from /1 to /2 and did not think about it being a problem until I read that the navigation was a problem for some people. I vote yes for RSS. And I need to plug my laptop into a good sized monitor to really enjoy the images. The one thing that the viewer could use is the ability to hide the left hand panel. For someone with no complaints – I ramble a lot.It is great to have Grimjack back. The only Grimjack I still don't have is 'Night of the killer Bunnies.' Just cannot seem to find it anywhere.

Angel Pinhead Summit of 2007, is this going to be an annual event ? Can I get my tickets now ?

Installment #2 was great. Another fun installment. I hope at the least in the future there is some way from going from the reader of #1 to #2 and vice versa via a click. Preferably, I'd like to see the option of all of seeing #1 and #2 in the reader at the same time.

    • Adriane Nash says:

I agree w/ Neil, having the optionof picking up at page 7 (or whatever) raher tha getting a whole new 1-6 would be nice, in case one wants to read it straight thru without endless window changes.

      • Adriane Nash says:

there were some r's and n's missing in that last comment; my keyboard (which is already serving as a replacement itself) is getting wonky on me.

      • Neil says:

And now the reader has evolved so we can go to the previous issue or next issue and links to both issues are at the top of the site. Great job Comic Mix team.

      • Matt Mako says:

Well the quick fix would be to put a link to the next installment right under 'Return to issue overview' Not ideal but adding a link like that should be easy.

Grimjack used to be one of my favorite comics back in the day, although I started during the Mandrake years, but I came to this hesitatingly since I'm not a big fan of webcomics (I always have scrolling/clicking issues). But, I really love both the reader here on ComicMix and the new Grimjack adventure. Both weeks have been really fun and I feel like I'm getting a satisfactory installment in each 6 page dose. Great job all around by everybody.

So now, we see how Bob came to be in Gaunts possession. I have to admit, I've had days like that as well. When the series is all over, how will this be collected and printed? Will comicmix publish it in graphic novel format?

  9. Richard Pachter says:

Great stuff. More please. And totally in the wrong context (I know) but the urls in comments don't work despite claims to the contrary.

Huge GJ fan from the original run though I lost all my issues after I seperated from my ex-wife. Have I read this before? or is it just a delusion. Anyway love seeing Guant in action again!
