To be filed under "I Don't Know Where It Came From But I Like It," this image of characters from the popular Dragonball anime and manga series (and upcoming live-action film) drawn up a la The Simpsons recently popped up on the InterWebs.

The live-action adaptation of Dragonball, originally set to be released on August 15, 2008, has been pushed back to April 3, 2009.
20th Century Fox has moved the film from the busy tail end of this year's summer movie season to the beginning of next year's, where it currently faces no competition. ComicMix previously reported that the Dragonball film has been pushed back to 2009, but now Joblo has posted some exclusive pictures from the set of the movie that should help hold you over until then.
Based off of the popular manga series and animated program, the movie follows Goku as he tries to find Master Roshi and collect all of the Dragon Balls in order to save the world from the evil Piccolo.

Jubei Kibagami's strapping on the ninja gear and heading for theaters around the globe.
Variety reports that the acclaimed anime film Ninja Scroll will be adapted by Warner Bros. as a live action adventure. Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way will produce the picture alongside Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Mike Ireland. The film will be written by Alex Tse, who worked as a writer on Zack Snyder's Watchmen.
