Robert Greenberger is best known to comics fans as the editor of Who's Who In The DC Universe, Suicide Squad, and Doom Patrol. He's written and edited several Star Trek novels and is the author of The Essential Batman Encyclopedia. He's known for his work as an editor for Comics Scene, Starlog, and Weekly World News, as well as holding executive positions at both Marvel Comics and DC Comics.

    I haven’t read the book, but was surprised by the quote below. If the book’s author means to say that the Wayne’s World booth was created to match the movie studio and video game booths, that’s odd. If I remember correctly, that DC booth appeared YEARS before any of the studios or video game companies had any floor space.
    “The need for space was detonated in 1993 when DC Comics unveiled its mega booth (nicknamed Wayne’s World for direct sales guru Bob Wayne) which upped the ante for the publishers and brought comics in line with the more well-heeled video game and movie offerings.”
