Disney To Buy Marvel
House of Mouse Takes Over House of Idea
Disney Entertainment, owner of damn near everything in the entertainment world, is planning on purchasing Marvel Entertainment. The purchase price is purportedly $4,000,000,000. That's four billion, for the zero challenged.
No word on what will happen to the current crew of Marvel employees, but as of this writing the House of Idea is not expected to move to the west coast.
More as this story develops.

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Stan Lee does not need Mickey Mouse! Pretty soon, Ms. Marvel will have to get breast reduction and wear skorts! I am decidedly against this move!!

Holy Crap. WB has spoiled some stuff for DC Comics and now Marvel joins a similar club (all pun intended). Geez. Guess it was just a matter of time.

Holy Crap! I don't even know how to react to this but it feels like bad news. I'm with you Alan, I don't think anything good will come from Disney peeking over Marvels shoulder to give then 'Notes' and 'Suggestions' on how they want their newest acquisition to do better.
Now we really have a Dark Reign to deal with.
