Is this an authorised posting?

Obviously, DC isn't authorizing it; but I think Elliot's okay with it since DC isn't willing to bring it back into print.

Does anyone have a way to check for sure? I truly enjoyed this book and an grateful to Maggin for having written it. I wouldn't want to pay that back by perusing it online if he wasn't actually okay with it.

Just asked Elliot, and he said, "I never gave any specific permission, but it's the only way to get the stuff out there in the absence of DC's inclination to reprint the thing."

Jesus Christ! I thought I was the only one who remembered this stuff?

Definitely one of the best Superman stories ever. This, along with Maggin's "Last Son of Krypton", have been two books that I truly enjoyed and nearly wore out with re-readings.

While this is a great book and deserves to be brought back into print for a new generation of fans, I am reflexively uncomfortable with any novel being copied and posted on-line without the owner or author being compensated for it. It's hard to believe DC wouldn't want one of the best Superman novels ever written to be out there generating revenue for them. "It's Superman!" by Tom DeHaven is also a great read even though, like "Miracle Monday", it is well outside current DC continuity.
