    Considering the number of remakes Seven Samurai has engendered – including, of course The Magnificent Seven (which was, coincndentally or otherwise) the original US release title of the first cut-and-dubbed version os the Jurosawa), but also Message from Space (which is amazingly similar to live-action anime) and Battle Beyond the Stars – i doubt that anyone's paying attention to another one in manga form.

    Since it was released in the US in 1978, and seems to be available on DVD only in a Region 2 version with Japanese track only, here's the IMDB link for Message from Space, a film that should be experienced to fully comprehend, but of whose awesome weirdness on can get some inkling from reading the comments…
