I dug it... it definitely had its issues, but I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than X3!

Dreadful. A perfect storm of godawful writing, acting and directing. It was like Ghost Rider, Punisher, and The Spirit had a baby and it lived. You'd think after three tries they'd have learned how NOT to make an X-Men movie. Thankfully Liev Schreiber is talented enough to survive his association with this regrettable undertaking.

For what it's worth, Chris Claremont liked it. And considering he thought that Wolverine should never have his origin revealed, that's saying a lot.

Why are Ma & Pa Kent in this film?

Why is anyone in this film?
And did you notice they're billed as James and Heather Hudson?
Claremont's opinion aside, I would concede the only silver lining in this cloud would be if some of Wolverine's neglected co-creators were seeing a few dollars from it.
