Not everyone started reading comics in the 1960...s, I started reading comics (other than Marvel's Transformers) in 1990 and really got into comics in 1991.

X-Men #1 and Spawn #1 were first books that I bought when I began my collection! That's when Wizard and Image Comics debuted too! During 1991 to 1992, I was 9-years-old going on 10-years-old. Mainstream Superhero Comic books shaped my life! I am so excited to see X-Men Forever relaunch. If Jim Lee were to come back as the penciler, I would pay $20 cover price for the issue in a heartbeat. Hear that Marvel!? Get Jim Lee back and I (and I speak for others, confidently) will make you rich! The cover of X-Men #3 was magic! The Gold Strike Team versus the Blue Strike Team! I kept staring at that cover for hours, and then I would go to the movie theater and stare at the Batman Returns movie poster and the TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze movie poster. I think I have to change my underwear again.

I started reading comics in 1991, but only kept reading new books until 1995-1996ish when Marvel ended the universe with the Age of Apocalypse Saga. It was then that I left marvel for a good long while, and have recently regained my interest in all the X-books from the pre-AoA period. This new X-men Forever seems almost tailor made for a reader like me. I'm very excited.

As with Chris Vu I too started reading comics around spawn issue number 1 and the X-men early 90's comics, still have about 70 issues. But im very intrested in X-men forever I may just have to pick it up. I also noticed there is a new series based on psylocke as well that seems very appealing.

I love the X-Men Forever series! The x-men really took a nose dive after Claremont left and now we are getting back to when the series was awesome. I stopped reading the x-books right before the Onslaught crisis and now with the return of Claremont I am happy to return to the x-men again. :)
