That is true. Wizard World is usually lacking. I wish they had different guests and got more underground artists and creators to come in.

So by 2010 Chicago will have C2E2, Wizard World Chicago and Windy City Con. 3 conventions in a span of 7 months.

Wow, God does love Chicago.

Chicago gains a Comic Convention and ComicMix gains a writer! Congrats on your first byline, Marc! Rock on!

This could not be better news! I have been going to Wizard World Chicago since 2000 and it has been a steady decline in attendance (both by people and guests) and exclusives and everything else for that matter! Go Chi Town!

Thanks guys! I'm super excited to be here, and look out for me more... and yes, it's about time people realized the "second city" is one to be reckoned with concerning comics.

The "Second City" was home to "First Comics!" But what city is the home of "First Second Comics"?

Good article; it will be nice to see what the guys behind the NYCC can do here. I'm pretty confident it will be great.

I would like to go on record as stating I could care less that Warren Ellis was at Wizard World Chicago last year, by the way. Bendis yes. Ellis no.

Looks like Wizard was careless in purchasing a domain for ChicagoComiccon.com
Reed purchased the domain for their event.

Will someone at Wizard get a clue to running an event?

Wizard will Isaac... when the C2E2 doubles their attendance.
