Okay, is it just me, or does that shot of The Comedian's death reveal his killer's identity? (I thought so in the original trailers, too.)

Pretty amazing, and radically different. I specially like the countdown, very obvious here.

From IDB.com Warner Agrees To Let Judge Decide On Watchmen Release:

"Rather than ask for a jury trial that would likely have postponed the release of Watchmen, Warner Bros. has agreed to let a federal judge who has shown the studio little sympathy decide whether 20th Century Fox could prevent it from distributing the movie on March 6 as scheduled."

This could be bad...

Seeing this version of trailer, it looks like Zack Snyder has been more faithful than most people thought, and even more creative as well.

You know, in the Watchmen, Ozymandias said that Hitler once said that people will swallow any lie, providing it's big enough.

I'm starting to wonder about the Fox/WB feud, whether or not it's really for real, or if it's publicity stunt to garner in viewers. Not like where people flocked to see The Dark Knight, mostly because of Heath Ledger's premature death. It sort of makes sense that the more the court thing drags on, the more people will get interested in what's all the fuss over the movie is all about and go and see it.

If this theory is true, then Fox and WB must have collaborated on this kind of stunt, and worked out some sort of deal that would not be made "public" until the eleventh hour to "save the movie".

Otherwise, it's hard to believe that a judge would side on WB in any case if he had already ruled on Fox's side. Maybe the judge is a Fox fan?

Eleventh hour? 11:59. This is Watchmen, after all.

Warner isn'r figuring that the judge will rul ein their favour over all - they just hope he'll say to go ahead with the 6 March release date.
