I'm in the red bar group, but I wouldn't necessarily peg it as due to the economy. I think it's more of a growing lack of interest in the types of stories being put out these days. I guess it's like movies now: I don't buy a comic book item unless I'm reasonably certain I'm going to enjoy it a lot.
The money IS a factor, but main reason is the increasing lack of enjoyment from series I once thought were great.

I cut back on my spending 3 years ago. I saw this downturn coming, but never thought it would get this bad. Good thing I am accustomed to living in poverty.

My buying habits haven't changed much in the past few years.
