I can't say that I understand the New Gods more. But I can enjoy my incomprehension more now that Alan Kistler has defined it. Thanks. Very funny.

sorry this guide wasn't more helpful, Russ. Anything else I can clear up directly?

Only thing I'm left wondering with all this fifth world and the "gods" dead is the name change !! The newer gods ??? or the neXt gods ???

Perhaps they will be the Fresh Gods and the New Gods will become O.G.s or "Old-School Gods."

Wow, I finally get it. Thanks, man. I was wondering why Gog was so huge and just what the anti-life equation was supposed to do. And I didn't know that about the Martian Manhunter having a past with Darkseid. When was that established?

It was revealed during the final story arc of the Martian Manhunter ongoing series, as written by our own John Ostrander (and why the Hell hasn't that stuff been collected, btw??).
