Saturday at Comic-Con International 2008 was its typical, packed-to-the-walls self, with swag to be had around every corner and a host of new costumes along with it. One of my favorites was the "Awesome X" costume shown here (from the Frisky Dingo animated series), and I’ve posted a few more after the jump. As I mentioned in the previous Comic-Con Photo Gallery I posted, it wasn’t easy to get a good photo with all of the pushing and shoving and general "no time to stop here" crowding, so I apologize for the blurriness in many of the photos. I promise I wasn’t drunk — at least, not at that point.

I loved this "Iron Woman" costume, for some reason.

This Trapjaw/Evil Lynn duo were being interviewed by a chubby, rude Skeletor (not seen here), and at one point I actually thought Trapjaw was going to gut the skeleton-faced jerk with his costume claw.

My camera was light-sabered before I saw Bender and I was ticked off. Thanks for showing that I wasn't still recovering from my two brews at Dick's Last Resort.I also caught sight of the female Iron Man, but thought the young, lady dressed as Plastic Man was really cute, as was the female Indiana Jones (imagine Bettie Page in fedora & leather jacket) I saw on Friday. Doesn't make up for some guys who felt it necessary to dress as various female anime/manga characters.
Yeah, that "chubby rude skeletor" was me, i'm known as Unemployed Skeletor . I was hired by Spike tv to interview people. I was in character, angry at "my minions" for leaving me. The Trap Jaw is a friend of mine, it was a bit, thats all.
Well, it was a well-played bit, then… I really thought Trap Jaw was going to give you the ol' uppercut! He looked pissed!Bravo, Unemployed Skeletor and various "minions" … bravo!
I talked to the guy who was Awesome X while I was working Comic Con myself and I can't for the life of me, find him anywhere since the event. If anyone knows who he is, please let me know so I can contact him and get our pictures.
