I taught at the The Kubert School for a year in the 90's. Muriel was a class act like no other. Joe, I'm sorry for your families lost and I'm so glad to have spent even the shortest time with your wife. She will be missed.

I only met Mrs. Kubert at graduation. She was very nice. Its sad to hear about this. My thoughts are with the entire Kubert family and friends, as well as students.

I attended JKS from '82-85, and Mrs. Kubert was often in the office, doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes but no less important work at the school. Quite a lady. My heart and thoughts go out to Joe, Adam, Andy and the family.

I remember seeing her in the office many times, while attending the School. She was a face I saw everyday while I was there. Kubert was always kind to me and I will always remember that. My Prayers go out to him and his family in this time of Grief. I pray that the peace that goes beyond all understanding meets the family right where they are.

During the first year of the fledgling Joe Kubert School, we students could not help but be awed
by Joe Kubert's strength and passion. Even then he was a living legend. But as we got to know
his wonderful wife Muriel, it was equally apparent that her devotion and business acumen kept
that school alive and thriving. Truly, she was The Rock!

Rick Veitch and I attended the service and funeral, and personally expressed our sorrow and love to the family, who are much beloved and very much in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Muriel was a second mother to some of us during our years at the school, offering not only all she did that was essential to the school, but constantly extending personal, emotional and inspirational support to us whenever it was needed. Muriel went above and beyond daily for many of us. She also made sure we knew how vital WE were to the school, to Joe, and to her -- and through Muriel, we also came to know and love the rest of the family. And that, indeed, was a gift.

Simply put, Muriel was amazing.

It was a privilege to know her for a time, and to be part of (and beneficiary of) the school she and Joe poured blood, sweat and soul into. Muriel changed my life irrevocably for the better -- it's heartbreaking to say 'goodbye,' and I can only imagine what a loss this is to Joe and the family.

I graduated from JKS in the class of '84 along with Adam & Andy. Muriel was always very nice to me during my years at the school, and I have fond memories of her giving Adam and Andy "the business" every once & awhile. My heart and best wishes go out to the brothers, Joe and the rest of the family.

What can you say in times like this? My sincerest condolences to Mr. Kubert and his family and may they be strong in this hard time. Just a Mr. Kubert's fan.

This is quite a shock to me. I actually saw her several times and got the chance to speak with her during my two years at the school. It's a very unfortunate loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and to Joe
