Iron Man Featured in New 'Incredible Hulk' Trailer
Robert Downey Jr. makes cameo in new 'Hulk' film preview
As most of you know by now, Marvel and Universal are taking the Incredible Hulk marketing into full swing this week, with one TV spot that may just be giving away a little too much.
Those of you who stayed till the end of Iron Man know that Sam Jackson pops up as fellow Marvel character Nick Fury, and rumor had it that we would be getting the same treatment with the next film from Marvel Studios, with Robert Downey Jr. rumored to appear as Tony Stark in the upcoming Incredible Hulk.
Well, it looks like the cat is out of the bag here, because according to the TV spot that hit the airwaves last night, Downey is definitely in the picture. It seems bizarre that the studios would spoil what could have been another big cameo, but such a move is likely indicative of the studios' worries regarding the film -- and an effort to ride the coattails of the biggest movie of 2008?
Check out the video below, but beware: If you would rather enjoy the surprise in the theater, stay away!
You can also view the video here.
Incredible Hulk hits theaters this week on Friday, June 13.

I liked the throwaway appearance of a General named Ross in "Kingdom of the Crytstal Skull"...

I saw that trailer a few days ago without the sound on a JetBlue flight. Nice to finally hear it too. Thanks!
I am hoping that the movie still has a surprise for us. Like Marvel only pretended to spoil Tony Stark's not-so-secret guest appearance by showing him in the commercials and after the Abomination gets killed Iron Man shows up in his Hulkbuster armor and he and Thor battle the Hulk for 30 or 40 minutes. Ah, wouldn't that be grand?

I'd say it's a pretty shrewd decision from a company that's suddenly become quite good with its finances. Marvel's stock is at a record high at the moment.

Yeah. I'm really kinda regretting not buying even a few shares of Marvel stock back in April.

I love the comment he makes about the subway. I just read that Daredevil issue by Frank Miller where he's in the subway and turns into the Hulk -- I always thought that was really realistic.
