wow…really shallow analogy of the book. I got hold of this copy the other day and I thought this one had really nice stories unlike you say… I did feel that the first issue of this lacked a bit in story but the second issue really came through both in art and in story.I guess it wasn't the typical american teenager comics that you review so favorably all the time.

Take a look at a list what Andrew Wheeler reviews. ComicMix makes that EASY! Click on the Blue Name "Andrew Wheeler" above. Or just follow this link: http://www.comicmix.com/contributor/andrew-wheele…I really don't think you can say that what Andrew Wheeler reviews are of "typical American teenager comics." I also think calling this review "shallow," is a gross mischaracterization. This review is about as in depth and well rounded as any you will find. Wheeler isn't overly critical. He praises many elements of the book. He also makes concrete suggestions on how the next volume could be improved.Outside of readers reviews on Amazon.com, this was the ONLY review I could find on the web of "Out of Picture Volume 2."http://www.amazon.com/Out-Picture-Art-Outside-Loo…If you enjoyed "Out of Picture Volume 2," start by thanking Andrew Wheeler for giving it the professional attention is deserves, the kind of attention it's getting from few other outlets.

I'm glad to hear you liked the stories better than I did; books like this should find a large and appreciative audience, and it's great that you found it that impressive. I'm a bit grumpier than you, I suppose.I'm not particularly a fan of "american teenager comics," and I don't remember reviewing anything like that very favorably — did you have a particular review in mind? (I don't think I've reviewed anything by Marvel so far for ComicMix, and only one or two DC/Verigo books.)
