I thought it sounded pretty interesting, but seeing NPH as the lead kicked it up a notch for me!

(Seriously. No lie.)

I think Neil Patrick Harris deserves better than "best known for his role as Doogie Howser, M.D." After all, he is on a current hit TV show; he plays Barney on "How I Met Your Mother."

It's like saying Sally Field is best known for her role as The Flying Nun. When everyone knows that her best role was as Gidget!

For HUGE Neil Patrick Harris fans, check out RiffTrax.com, where some of the former Mystery Science Theater crew continue to spoof movies by selling commentary tracks to be played simultaneously with your DVDs. Mike Nelson and special RiffTrax guest, Niel Patrick Harris send up "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

I think it's pretty accurate to refer to NPH as "best known for" Doogie Howser. I don't think I've ever watched anything with NPH in it and not had someone in the room reference "Doogie" at some point. that said, I think he's EXCELLENT in "How I Met your Mother" - in fact, he's the main reason I keep watching.

"...a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he's too shy to talk to..."

Which is too shy? Low-rent super-villain or the hero who keeps beating him up?

Don't forget Neil Patrick Harris in Harold & Kumar as the best celebrity cameo in a movie ever.
