New 'Watchmen' Pictures Debut
Who watches the Watchmen pose for glamour shots?
Zack Snyder is a giving man. Not only is he trying his best to stay faithful to the source material in his adaptation of Watchmen, but he keeps the fans informed as well.
Continuing his tradition of giving, Snyder has posted large pictures of The Comedian, Rorschach, Silk Spectre, Nite Owl and Ozymandias on his production blog.
We're still one year away from Watchmen hitting theaters, but that doesn't mean we can't whip ourselves into a frenzy by looking at brand new pictures of the film's characters.
Gazing upon these pictures will probably make the wait for the movie that much harder, but you know you lack the willpower to resist clicking the link. Just note that if you look at the pictures, Alan Moore will personally come to your house and punch you.

Nite Owl isn't pudgy enough
Silk Spectre's costume is a tad too extreme.
Ozymandas and Comedian look good.
Can't see enough of Rorschach to tell for sure; what i can see looks good. Have to see how the mask CGI works out in motion.

To be fair, Night Owl wasn't always pudgy; that is later in the series, when he's settled into a comfortable life. I'm willing to suspend disbelief and assume this is younger, shit-kicking Night Owl. Ozymandias is a little... too foam rubbery, but I actually prefer how they really just removed the billowing sleeves from Silk Spectre.

I thought that the Comedian and Rorschach looked perfect (from comic to film).
Not too sure about Nite Owl, and Ozymandias didn't look too shabby.
Wouldn't mind being beaten up by Silk Spectre tho'. ;-)
