On This Day: Glenn Hauman
ComicMix salutes one of its own!
Glenn Hauman was born on March 4, 1969. He’s been involved in comics since junior high school, when he studied under the legendary John Buscema. Years later he joined the industry officially, working in production at DC.
Since then Glenn’s done writing, production, layout, editing, and interactive development at several places, including DC, Apple Comics, and Simon & Schuster. Currently he’s the Vice-President of Operations and Production Manager for ComicMix, the colorist for Jon Sable Freelance, and one of the first and foremost (and tallest!) of our merry crew.
Happy birthday, big guy!

This is, like, his third birthday in the past eight months. And he's spending it with Peter David? I dunno...
Peter, and Glenn, will be at Midtown Comics' Times Square NYC store tonight (well, Wednesday morning) at midnight hawking his latest Dark Tower thingy at Marvel. And our own Matt Raub will be there too, videoing it for the ComicMix podcast.
So here's what you should do. Show up, stand in line, get up to Peter, ask Peter where Glenn is, and immediately run over and get Glenn's autograph! It'll be great fun for everybody... particularly Peter David!
Hell, it ain't HIS birthday anyway.

Arrrgh. The day he was born, i was getting ready to go to Navy Counter-Insurgency School, getting ready to go to the Bad Place In Southeast Asia.
Make me feel old, why doncha?

Hey, it's YOUR turn. I've had that burden for over a decade now.
It would have been easier to adopt him.

The year before he was born, I was leading my high-school's contingent on the march against the Pentagon.
I'm not old, he's young!

Man, what was it like before the invention of the wheel, guys? How'd you get around? ;)
Did they even have fire back then?

Happy Birthday Glenn, I'll try and save you some BBQ.
Love you, Linda

Sure. That's how our moms got rid of our comics.

Thank you, all of you. I'm somewhat concerned that I've reached the age that Jack Benny was when he died... he looked so much older.
(And ironically, that photo is from the last Peter David Dark Tower signing at Midtown Comics. Go fig.)
