Birthday Requests
... but no pressure

If anybody's stumped on what to get me for a birthday present, there's a copy of Marvel Comics #1 up for auction. Only $25k or so.
C'mon. It's not even in mint condition.
It's not like I'm asking for uranium or a tank
or anything.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Please do not send gifts of uranium ore to ComicMix HQ. Thank you. -RM]

Is that the copy that's up for auction? If so, it's rare -- even for Marvel (Mystery) Comics #1. Most copies had the October cover date blacked out with a November cover date overprint.
But it's not in mint, so why bother?

That gives me a great idea for a print comic company name: Mint Condition Comics.
Even if they're ripped, they'll always be Mint Condition.
Ah, print...

Happy belated, Glenn! Sorry I was otherwise occupied and unable to give you birthday greetings until now.
